1) Invitation for early registration

We will be happy to host up to 50 participants from industry, science, authorities and NGOs.

Participation fee, including lodging and all meals (except beverage):

    •    Option A: 1-5 September (full programme), EUR 420, early birds EUR 336 *

    •    Option B: 1.4 September (Aquaculture only), EUR 315, early birds EUR 252 

    •    Option C: 3-5 Septemer (Fishery only) EUR 210, early birds EUR 168 *

* Early bird discounts: The fees in bold characters are valid only when registered and paid by 28 February. As of March, the fees in brackets will be applied.

2) Call for abstracts

Deadline: 1st of March

We invite scientists and practitioners to apply for a talk or a poster on one of these topics:

  • Fish behaviour in aquaculture
  • Fish health in aquaculture (incl. physiology, stress, malformations, diseases)
  •  Fish welfare as a challenge for the aquaculture industry
  • Fish welfare and certifications schemes in aquaculture
  • Fish welfare issues and solutions in fisheries
  • Economic inequalities in fisheries: Is there a fairer deal?

Please apply before 1st of March, based on your research results or on your experience in industry, controlling or advocacy.
